Chris Collins is Vice President, Construction & Development at Summit Real Estate Group.
Chris joined the firm in 2017 bringing an array of experience including general contracting, estimating, and project execution/oversight on behalf of numerous owners. With Summit’s position in the marketplace as an owner/operator of real estate and a development services provider, Chris leads the firm’s construction efforts that range from tenant finish and capital improvement projects related to the firm’s owned assets, to the management and oversight of large-scale commercial development, re-development, and construction projects for the firm and its clients. In Chris’s recent tenure with Summit, he has overseen more than $85 million dollars in under 3 years in new construction and re-development efforts for the firm.
Prior to joining Summit, Chris held various third-party consulting roles geared toward the strategic implementation of high-volume development rollout efforts for notable Fortune 500 flags.
Prior to his consulting roles, Chris was Associate Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield. During his 6 years with the company, Chris served in various execution and leadership roles related to development and construction as a services provider and consultant to notable clients such as Edward Jones, Proctor & Gamble, Humana, and Chick-fil-a. During his time at Cushman & Wakefield, he was responsible for the opening of hundreds of retail and office locations for the clients he served. Before Chris’s tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, he spent 4 years with Duggan Contracting Corporation, a self-performing general contractor in the St. Louis Metro area, where he was an estimator and project manager assigned to large-scale commercial construction projects.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
