Summit Real Estate Group is pleased to announce that EcoShield Pest Solutions, based in Gilbert, Arizona, has leased 11,285 square feet at Peachtree Nortech in Atlanta, Georgia. The 216,416 square foot, five-building warehouse portfolio was acquired Q3 2019 on behalf of Summit’s Arrowrock Income & Growth Fund III (AIGF III). The lease brings the project occupancy to 96%.
EcoShield, operating in fifteen states, provides innovative pest management solutions that combine clean and green products for home and business applications. The company chose Peachtree Nortech because of its suburban infill location offering immediate access to high-end residential areas, as well as I-285, I-85 and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The EcoShield space was previously occupied by a non-traditional industrial tenant that required the space to be completely demolished and rebuilt. Summit acted as Construction Manager for the associated project construction.
Since acquisition, Summit has executed its business plan to include reducing the percentage of office space in vacant office suites, replacing non-traditional office warehouse tenants, and updating the properties appearance with exterior building and site improvements.
