A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for South Florida Distribution Center – Building C in Pembroke Pines, FL. One of several Summit-led development projects currently under construction, Summit and its partners, including local leasing team Cushman & Wakefield, introduced the $57 million project to the local and regional business community. Summit’s Arrowrock U.S. Industrial Fund IV acquired the 23-acre industrial development site and an adjacent 224,560 SF existing warehouse building in Q3 2023.
Located north of Miami, FL, in Broward County (the second most populous area in Florida), the property is easily accessible to Florida’s three primary north/south freeways – I-75, Florida’s Turnpike, and I-95. At 281,145 SF, Building C will be a Class A rear-load, multi-tenant warehouse with 36’ clear heights and a 180’ truck court with space available for trailer parking. With its flexible, multi-tenant design, the building will seek to attract area manufacturing, distribution, and industrial services companies. Summit anticipates delivering Building C in Q3 2025.
