Summit Real Estate Group is pleased to announce that it has closed on a 34-acre industrial site in Columbia, SC. Acquired on behalf of Summit’s Arrowrock US Industrial Fund IV, the ground-up development project will be known as Pineview Trade Center and include a single, multi-tenant warehouse building representing 351,540 square feet.
Located in the Southeast Columbia industrial submarket, the site is part of Richland County’s ±1,000-acre master-planned Pineview Industrial Park, the closest Class A industrial park to Columbia’s urban core, the University of South Carolina, and Fort Jackson. Columbia has an underserved industrial market and the city is central to the entire southeastern United States. Three major interstates (I-20, I-77, and I-26) cross through Columbia and this connectivity allows efficient access to Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg, Charleston, and Savannah. The site is three miles from I-77 and I-95 can be accessed in less than one hour via I-26 SE or I-20 NE connecting drivers to the entire eastern seaboard.
Pineview Trade Center seeks to attract tenants that serve area manufacturing, distribution, and transportation companies. The 36’ clear Class A warehouse building will have a depth of 310’ and a 185’ truck court that includes trailer spaces and outside storage. Summit anticipates starting construction Q1 2023 and delivering the building Q4 2023.
